Unique Computer Id? What is that?
 
The UNIQUE COMPUTER ID is a long cryptic string that is calculated separetly on each computer. It's from the UNIQUE COMPUTER ID that we make some calculations and creates the license file.
 
You may find your UNIQUE COMPUTER ID by selecting the menuoption Help -> About and then click on the ID-button.

...and what a heck is a Serial Number?
 
The SERIAL NUMBER is exactly what is sounds like. It's a number that you obtained when you bought DMM and it was sent to you via Email unless you have bought the DMM Retail Pack.
 
If you've bought the DMM Retail Pack, you should see a Serial Number on the back of the CD envelope (the one that you threw away),
